strong cannabidiol

What is the strongest CBD available?

For thousands of years, cannabis has been known by many cultures. To this day, it remains the hot topic of discussion, and it is common to confuse cannabis and cannabidiol (CBD), which are two different substances in terms of their health effects.

CBD is beneficial to health and its use is constantly growing in the medical field, as it is mainly used to calm pain and intervenes in other disorders. It is now legalized in some countries because of these therapeutic effects.

In this article, we offer you the selection of the variety richest in CBD and its importance on the body.

The strongest cannabidiol

There are several varieties of CBD offered by brands. Generally, medical cannabis consumers are looking for weed that is present in high amounts of CBD. However, choosing to find the strongest strain is a bit difficult.

Candida (CD-1)

Candida (CD-1) is genetically made up of Indica and Sativa, presents a cross between the two varieties AC DC and Harlequin. This variety contains the highest content of CBD and the lowest content of THC, moreover it does not produce psychoactive effect.

In fact, this variety is favored by people who wish to obtain medical benefits, because its level of THC is less than 1% which means, that it does not give any considerable psychoactive effect, contrary to what you can find in other varieties of cannabis the rate of THC is very abundant and produces thus, a high effect.

The medical potential of this strain is enormous, because its concentration, very high in CBD which goes from 11 to 20 %, allows him to treat a great number of disorders such as the anxiety, the insomnia, the epileptic seizures, the disease of Alzheimer. Candida (CD-1) is considered a true medical relief, while having little or no psychoactive effect.

The effects of the strongest CBD on the body

In order to project the importance of the strongest CBD, you must first know its benefits on the human body:

  • Reduces inflammation and calms pain.
  • Relieves epileptic seizures.
  • Helps fight depression.
  • Reduces stress and anxiety, as it has a relaxing effect.
  • Helps to reduce the side effects of cancer drugs.
  • Beneficial on mental disorders.

The functioning of CBD is based on its interaction with the endocannabinoid system (ECS), it has two receptors:

  • CB1: present in the brain and central nervous system.
  • CB2: present generally in the whole body.

For the mode of action, CBD influences indirectly on the receptors which gives, thereafter, a soft response which will be treated by the ECS, moreover it acts on the receptor (5-HT1A) to secrete serotonin and melatonin, which enters the regulation of the mood and the sleep. The medical use of CBD requires high intensity, but the choice of the latter is based on your needs.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabinoid found in cannabis that refers to a plant named hemp, and in botanical language called Cannabis Sativa. It is essentially, a very complicated plant to demonstrate with respect to these little known constituents. Nevertheless, CBD is the major constituent of the cannabinoid.

CBD is the prevention of cannabidiol, according to an etymological study, this name is composed of two independent parts and each of them gives information on the meaning of CBD :

  • Cannabi: comes from cannabis which means a plant from which the molecule is derived.
  • Diol: refers to a chemical substance displayed under the name of glycol.
  • CBD: the composition of the chemical substance present in the molecule, also including oxygen and hydrogen.

In its natural state, this molecule is very abundant in cannabis, once the molecule is extracted from the plant, its name will change to cannabidiol, moreover thanks to this extraction the molecule can be presented as an essential oil. Finally, CBD has become very popular for its adaptation in electronic cigarettes, but also for its benefits in therapeutic use.…

when to consume CBD

Is there an ideal time to consume CBD?

You want to consume cannabidiol “CBD” and you want to know how and especially when to take it?

You will first have to choose which product you want to consume CBD with, as there are several. It is possible to vaporize CBD with an e-cigarette or to inhale it in a traditional way, the legal cannabis with a high content of CBD and almost 0% of THC is legal to sell.

There is also CBD oil, which is used for several reasons including weight loss, and cannabidiol can also be found in lozenges or candy.

In this article, we will tell you when to take CBD for each of the cases mentioned above.

Knowing when to take CBD depends on how you use it

As we said, CBD can be present in e-liquid, and in this case, it is used for vaping. Otherwise, you may want to consume it in lozenges or in oil form. The body will consume cannabidiol in different ways, depending on how it is administered and the medium that is used. The duration of the effect of CBD is also influenced by this.

When to smoke CBD or vaporize it?

In order to have very fast effects of cannabidiol on your body, inhaling it or vaping it with an e-cigarette will provide you with this speed, because the CBD will go directly through the lungs, and more precisely the alveoli of the lungs which will accelerate its arrival to the blood.

If you have pains or crises, this method is preferred for its very fast and effective effects, otherwise, for long-lasting effects, prefer CBD oils or capsules.

When to consume CBD edibles like candies or capsules?

Cannabidiol capsules or lozenges are convenient to have on you at all times, and there is nothing to prepare, it’s like medicine that you have, if you feel like consuming it, just open the box and take it. In addition to the speed of assimilation, it is the safest and most convenient way to take advantage of the benefits of CBD that make it :

  • A pain reliever.
  • An anti-inflammatory.
  • An anxiolytic.
  • An anti-epileptic.

CBD, an ally in the management of lung cancer?

As more and more physical and online stores offer cannabidiol (or CBD) for sale in recent months, research continues to determine whether this naturally occurring compound in cannabis has therapeutic benefits.

In addition to its relaxing and sleep-enhancing effects, studies have found that CBD may be effective against lung damage caused by Covid-19 infection or delay the formation of beta-amyloid plaques, which cause Alzheimer’s disease.

In an article published in BMJ Case Reports, researchers suggest that CBD oil could be used as a potential treatment for lung disease.

A 76% decrease in tumor diameter

The cannabinoids found in CBD oil can interact with signaling pathways in cells, including cancer cells. Although other studies have shown conflicting results about their effectiveness as a primary treatment for cancer, this new work is encouraging.

It results from the follow-up of an 80-year-old patient diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer. She also suffered from mild chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), osteoarthritis and high blood pressure. She was a smoker and consumed more than a pack of cigarettes per week (68 packs per year).

At the time of diagnosis, the patient’s lung tumor measured 41 mm and could be treated conventionally with surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. But the woman refused treatment. So she was placed under surveillance, with regular CT scans every 3 to 6 months.

The scans showed that the tumor was gradually shrinking, from 41 mm in June 2018 to 10 mm in February 2021, an overall reduction of 76 percent of the maximum diameter.

When contacted in 2019 to discuss her progress, the woman revealed that she had been taking CBD oil as an alternative self-treatment for her lung cancer since August 2018, shortly after her initial diagnosis: 0.5 ml of oil, usually three times a day, but sometimes two.

Other than loss of appetite, no other side effects have been reported. The patient also made no changes to her prescribed medications, diet or lifestyle. And she continued to smoke throughout.

More research needed

The researchers caution that this article is not a clinical trial. It is only a case report, with only one other similar case reported. They explain that they don’t yet know exactly what ingredients in CBD oil may have been effective in decreasing the size of the tumor. “Although there appears to be a relationship between CBD oil intake and the observed tumor regression, we are not able to conclusively confirm that the tumor regression was due to the patient’s intake of CBD oil.”

“Further research is needed to identify the actual mechanism of action, routes of administration, safe dosages, its effects on different types of cancer, and any potential adverse side effects when using cannabinoids,” they conclude.…

What is CBN? What you need to know about this cannabinoid

Over the past couple of years, CBD has invaded the beauty, food and beverage, and wellness industries in the form of everything from bath salts to fruit gum, seltzer, chocolate, and oil drops.

However, there is a new cannabis-derived chemical that is soon to become as popular as CBD, thanks to its ability to promote a good night’s sleep. Meet CBN. It’s a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant that offers relaxing and sleep-inducing properties, which means your sleep could be more restful after consuming CBN gummies or oil drops.

What is CBN?

Cannabinol, aka CBN, is derived from hemp plants. “CBN and CBD are both cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, but they have different chemical structures,” explains Dr. Elizabeth Ardillo, director of medical education at Green Thumb Industries.

When THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is the main active ingredient in cannabis, is heated and exposed to Co2 (oxygen), it turns into what is known as CBN. What makes it the latest and greatest cannabis-derived product? “CBN products are popular right now because they promote a better night’s sleep. They have a relaxing effect,” she adds.

But what about CBD?

They’re only one letter away, so what’s the difference between CBD and CBN? CBD, which is a Cannabidiol, is found in cannabis and hemp plants. In contrast, CBN is created by exposing THC to light. Biology aside, CBN has mild psychoactive effects, unlike CBD-based products; you may feel a high when taking a CBN-based product, but it won’t be as intense as the one you would feel when consuming THC. The benefits of taking CBN

Research on the effects of CBN is limited since this cannabinoid is difficult to synthesize. Most of the studies that exist are still in preclinical phases, but we can retain some interesting potential effects:

  • It helps to reduce anxiety
  • It acts against certain bacteria
  • It increases appetite, without psychoactive effect
  • It has a soothing effect on inflammation
  • It promotes sleep and a better sleep

Researchers are particularly interested in its effect on appetite, since it seems to stimulate hunger behaviors like THC. Its main advantage? Unlike the latter molecule, it does not produce undesirable and psychoactive side effects.

As with CBD, the benefits of taking CBN include improved sleep quality, pain relief and anti-inflammation. However, CBN is much more potent when it comes to sleep. “CBD is not as useful as CBN when we’re talking about these relaxing properties,” says Dr. Ardillo.

After taking a CBN supplement, the average consumer can expect to feel the effects within 30 to 180 minutes. “We don’t want someone to take one dose and after 15 minutes take another because they don’t feel any effects. It’s very important to understand how these products work to ensure your health and safety,” she says. If you don’t feel the effects of CBN, wait at least an hour before taking another dose.…

The cytokines are a category of proteins, and the cytokines involved in a cytokine storm increase inflammation.

If you are suffering from COVID-19, often you will experience lung fibrosis, this is a severe and untreatable condition that will leave your lung tissue scarred and make it more difficult for you to breathe. If there is a substance that can stop the effect of cytokine storm, it will be able to prevent lung fibrosis, suppress inflammation, and put the patient of COVID-19 in remission.
Multiple Studies That Support CBD And Its Cytokine Storm Fighting Properties
There are a lot of research studies that have concluded that cannabis can block a cytokine storm in patients suffering from COVID-19.

An example is a mouse-model study carried out in the year 2020 which found out that CBD, being an active cannabinoid compound from cannabis, has the effect of reducing proinflammatory cytokines, it also can improve the clinical symptoms of the mice with symptoms similar to the COVID-19
The study will also suggest that CBD works as part of COVID-19 treatment by protecting your lung tissue inflammation and reducing the cytokine storm.

How Else Could CBD Help In Treating COVID-19?

Cannabis is showing a great potential to decrease inflammation as well as scarring in the patients with COVID-19, how else can the cannabis assist the patients suffering from COVID-19?
Compounds found in cannabis such as CBD have also indicated the promise in different other areas, such as treating anxiety and pain relief. While these therapeutic benefits have not been investigated in patients with COVID-19, they could offer exciting areas of future study.
Pain Relief

With COVID 19 symptoms, which include sore throat, body aches, pain relief, and headaches, will be experienced by many patients.
Cbd has shown great potential in relieving pain, it is capable of increasing the effects of serotonin, which is a neurotransmitter inducing pain relief.
